Forest stunned again by Midtjylland as Europa League hopes hang by a thread
Chances galore, goals none — Forest were made to pay for wastefulness as the Danish underdogs struck late to silence the City Ground.

Nottingham Forest's Europa League campaign is in serious jeopardy after a 1-0 home defeat to Midtjylland in the round of 16 first leg — the second time this season the Danish side have beaten them on their own patch.
Forest dominated large spells and created plenty, with Omari Hutchinson's long-range rocket and Elliot Anderson's curler both drawing fine saves from Elias Rafn Ólafsson. But their profligacy proved costly. In the 80th minute, Cho Gue-sung met Ousmane Diao's cross with a composed header to hand Midtjylland — winners in 12 of their last 14 European games — a precious away goal.
The jeers from the home crowd told the story. "It is difficult to explain," admitted manager Vítor Pereira. "We created so many chances. They had two chances and scored. It is frustrating, but we will prepare for the second leg and fight."
Forest now must win away in Denmark on March 19 to stay alive in the competition — something they have failed to do all season.
